General Inspection Guidelines:
  1. Please allow three or more hours for full inspections. The first hour should be
    during daylight hours to complete the exterior portion.
  2. The following components will be inspected (full inspections only) - Lot layout,
    Exterior, Basement/crawl space, Heating/cooling, Electrical, Plumbing, Interior,
    Attic. Weather or temperature conditions may limit the extent of the inspection of
    the exterior, roof or air conditioning. For example, snow covered roof or
    landscaping.
  3. If we are to inspect the attic, anything in storage areas that would not allow
    ladder access to the opening needs to be removed by the owner.
  4. Water, heat, gas and electricity should be on and in operating condition. Any
    non-functional utilities will limit the extent of the inspection.
  5. For safety's sake, areas containing any aggressive animal(s) will not be
    inspected. Please do not lock pets in basement mechanical rooms.
  6. Please attend the inspection if at all possible but be aware that completing your
    inspection in the 3 hour time frame may require the inspector to work alone or
    uninterrupted at times. Feel free to ask questions; we will answer all that we can
    in the time alloted or at the conclusion of the inspection. Wear weather
    appropriate clothing.
